Feeling lonely? The prophets, apostles, and even Jesus himself have been there and know just how you feel. Contrary to what the world might want you to believe, you are perfect for what the Lord has designed you to do. And, as David wrote nearly 3,000 years ago, there is no place so remote that you are isolated from God. What’s more, David wrote, “You formed my inward parts; you kitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:13–14, ESV) If you feel like a square peg, praise God! Somewhere there is a place you fit perfectly. Seriously, has the world lost its collective mind? Since the middle of the 20th century, when American children were still from the Bible in public schools, our society has devolved from a simpler, perhaps naive, worldview to one in which everyone decides their own reality. Beginning in the 1960s, young women have been propagandized to believe that they were throwing off the shackles of the patriarchy when in fact they’d given up the freedom provided by the protection of the family designed by God for true bondage, in service to the dark gods who’ve rebelled against the Creator.
