Jesus was going to become the most targeted man of His day and the implications of all that for the disciples were significant. So, it’s not surprising to see Jesus preparing His men as we see in Luke 22:35-38.
Never has there been a greater miscarriage of justice than when Jesus was arrested and tried as a criminal. We see the beginning of that corrupted process in the final verses of Luke 22.
