The Good News is that we have a God who wants to lead us through the things that are pressing in on us. He promises He will never leave us nor forsake us. He says He will lead the way so we can overcome the weight of stress and anxiety bearing down on us.

Part 5: Understanding Depression

Everyone gets sad or experiences grief at one time or another, but they usually go away within a few days. Depression, however, is something more, and untreated, it can lead to serious health issues. Some Christians believe that they shouldn’t suffer from depression if they are truly saved. Others believe using medications shows spiritual weakness. But, are these accurate or even faithful to Scripture? Today we’ll explore this important topic that affects everyone, either directly or indirectly through people we know and love.

Part 4: The Need for Margin

There are lots of causes of stress and anxiety, and while we can affect some of those causes, there are many we have little or no control over. But that doesn’t mean we are left stranded to wallow in our stress and anxiety. In our busy, busy world today, sometimes one of the most effective ways to deal with stresses and anxieties we can’t control is to provide some margin, some space, in our lives, as we’ll see in today’s message.
