Right Side of the Story

Giving up the comfortable things to allow for the Jesus things. When we are sacrificial, the people around us will want to know more about Jesus and why we are so giving. We have to stay on the right side of the story, the right heart, the right posture with God. Willing to give up some stuff to lead others to Jesus.

Pastor Jessica bring a great word about the patterns and pain of bitterness and resentment. She tells of how we lost our right to not forgive others when we accepted Christ and he paid the ultimate price for our sins. Un-forgivness holds us back from the more God has to offer in our life. Holding on to things from the past and not forgiving people may even undermine our authority in prayer.

Powerful message about seeking Godly wisdom first when dealing with grief. Seek first how God would have you respond vs. reacting off instinct. Keep your integrity. Call your pain or grief what it is AND proclaim God's victory and triumph over it to take back all the things (or time) the enemy took from you.
