Survivor Sunday | Celebrating Survivors. Supporting Fighters. Honoring Lives.

October 25, 2026
11:00am - 1:00pm

October is Cancer Awareness Month, and at Freewill, we are continuing a tradition of bringing awareness, offering support, and celebrating the strength of those whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

In years past, we have recognized this occasion as Pink Out Sunday, with a special emphasis on Breast Cancer Awareness. While we will continue to honor that important cause, and we still encourage everyone to WEAR PINK, our celebration has evolved to embrace and support those affected by ALL cancers.

Join us on Sunday, October 25th at 11:00 am for Survivor Sunday during our Worship Service. We invite our entire church family and community to attend, especially cancer survivors, those currently fighting, caregivers, family members, and friends.

On this special Sunday, we will celebrate our survivors, stand with those who are still fighting, and honor the lives of those whose healing came on the other side of eternity. We also want to surround the loved ones who remain with prayer, encouragement, and the reminder that they do not walk this journey alone.

This year’s celebration is even more meaningful as we commemorate the 5-Year Anniversary of FMBC’s Touched By An Angel Cancer Support Ministry, five years of offering hope, encouragement, prayer, resources, and community to individuals and families impacted by cancer.

If you are a survivor, a supporter, or someone wishing to honor the memory of a beloved soul who has received their ultimate healing in heaven, we encourage you to Click Here or text the word "SURVIVOR" to 334-262-2205 so we may recognize you or your loved one.

Come worship. Come celebrate. Come remember. And come wearing your PINK as we stand together in faith and love.
