The Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 has made headlines in calling for racial equality, social justice with a list of other grievances. However, it's also making headlines for its founders' religious practice and calling into question any possible allegiance of Christians, in general, and pastors, in particular. We will discuss the pagan practices of the Black Lives Matter's founders with Pastor Abraham Hamilton III, radio host of the Hamilton Corner, and General Counsel for American Family Association when we return.

What is the role of the church, especially in this time of racial turmoil? Is the church even relevant today? Christians, Black, and White seem to be confused about what our role is in society. How can we talk about racial reconciliation when racism rests in a comfortable place in our own house of worship?

KiK Interviews Dr. John Trent

November 15, 2020 • Dr. John Trent

Many today believe that much of the violence we see in our communities apart from the political protests are evidence of the family break down. The absence of fathers in the home has caused many young males and females to get involved in antisocial activity, out of wedlock births, gang violence, and theft. Many search for answers like new laws, more social programs, or more job opportunities, which all sound good, but will they fix what is missing?

"If you send your kids to Caesar for their education, don't be surprised when they come back as Romans." -Voddie Baucham. October 11, 2020 • Charles Love

There is much debate today about the perceived lack of equality in our society. Activists speak of racial, gender, and income inequality, to name a few. But is this a real call for equality or a masked attempt to mandate a preference? Is equality of access or outcomes even possible? And should it be the government’s job to try to mitigate “equality” even if it doesn’t exist? Today we will be speaking with Charles love, the Assistant Executive Director of Seeking Educational Excellence. He is also the author of “We want Equality: How the Fight for Equality Gave way to Preference.”

KiK Interviews Pastor Ceasar LeFlore and Sylvia Johnson Matthews

October 3, 2020

Today we hear a lot of concern about the taking of Black lives by the police and police brutality. The protests have reached a fevered pitch proclaiming that the police are hunting down black people. But is this correct? Are we being hunted down? Today, our guests Pastor Ceasar LeFlore, executive director of the beloved community development coalition, and Sylvia Johnson Matthews, Executive director of the Houston Pregnancy Help Center, would say yes. Yet, it's not the police for whom we have to worry. It's the abortion clinics that are responsible for the death of over 20 million Black babies since 1973.

Interview with Ken Blackwell

September 27, 2020 • Ken Blackwell

In our society today, many of our communities are seeing a lot of turmoil. It is been said that Black Lives Matter has a false narrative that is competing with a narrative that is family-centered. But are these just competing narratives, or is one the truth and the other a lie? Has the BLM movement hijacked the sentiment that Black lives matter to create something more insidious and nefarious? We will speak with the honorable Ken Blackwell, the former Mayor of Cincinnati, the former Treasurer and Secretary of state of Ohio, and a long list of other accomplishments I don't have time to list.

In these challenging and uncertain times, we are reminded of our call and charge to live countercultural to the World. To that end, Kingdoms in Konflict: A Matter of Faith, Race, and Public Policy stands as a voice to address sociopolitical issues from a biblically conservative worldview. Each show is intended to make a clear distinction between a biblical prescription versus the secular prescription to the most pressing issues facing society today. Our ultimate goal is to advance the Kingdom of God in our churches, communities, and our country by encouraging our listeners to vote their values and to actively engage in the political process that represents all of us.
