Idaho “School Choice” Bill Fails Over Lack of “Accountability”

A “school choice” bill in Idaho that would have given out nearly $6,000 of tax money per homeschooling or private-schooled child was defeated in the state Senate last week, with opponents citing concerns over a lack “accountability.” A number of Republicans and Democrats joined forces to stop the proposal. 

Tenn. Lawmakers Explore Getting Feds Out of Schools

Authorities in Tennessee formed a panel of lawmakers this week to examine how the state could free its education system from federal funding and, more importantly, the federal control over public schools that comes with those tax dollars. The move could potentially serve as a role model as states and school districts across the nation seek to protect children from the Biden administration.

As the dominoes fall on quack “reading” methods that crippled tens of millions of Americans, the infamous Teachers College at Columbia University has quietly scrapped one of the key nerve centers that pushed the quackery into schools for almost half a century. It seems the truth is now too obvious to ignore: Learning to read and write English requires phonics.  

Lesbian-Marxist US Library Boss: Schools & Libraries for “Socialist Organizing”

Government schools and local libraries should be used for “socialist organizing,” the self-proclaimed “Marxist lesbian” chief of the American Library Association (ALA) proclaimed at a major socialism conference last week. The library boss has also becoming notorious recently for hating on parents, families, Christians and anyone else who stands in the way of indoctrinating children.
