Notes from Nate: This is a really interesting discussion on translations of the bible. Both Beth Allison Barr's book (The Making of Biblical Womanhood) and Scot McKnight's book (A Church Called Tov) have been quite impactful reads for me within the past few months. I'd definitely recommend them! This discussion might push the envelop on how you approach bible translations, but I like how they end in a middle ground: that no matter the translation or agenda pushing the translation, you can get to know God through his Word.
