The night had finally come. The long-expected Savior was born. A multitude of angels sang glory to God! The shepherds rejoiced!
“But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.”
Tucked within the big story of Jesus’ birth, we get a glimpse of Mary’s reaction as she listened to the shepherds recount what the angels told them concerning the child. This moment was worth preserving. She wanted to remember (treasure!) this “moment between the moments” always.
