Year of Your Life

Douglas, IOM

Year of Your Life (YOYL) is a full-time one-year internship dedicated primarily to serving Living Hope Church on the Isle of Man. The programme is aimed at committed Christians, 18 years and older who are fully on board with the vision and heart of Living Hope.

Each intern will have a role that requires them to serve for at least 35 hours a week in a variety of areas across Living Hope. This includes areas such as youth work, children’s work and administration, as well as weekend services and special events. In addition to their serving hours, interns will typically receive 2- 4 hours a week of theological or ministry training.

Their role will be attached to one of the seven Living Hope congregations and will be managed by that congregation’s eldership team. Each intern will also be hosted by a family on the Isle of Man.

All interns can expect their faith to be challenged and built up through serving, mentorship and being exposed to leadership meetings on a regular basis and they will serve on the YOYL team alongside other like-minded young people. The programme includes weekly times set aside for building and having fun together as a team, making the most of the outdoors experiences that the Isle of Man has to offer.

School of Prophecy

The School of Prophecy is a stretching intermediate “boot camp” for those who are already operating in a measure of the prophetic and have a foundational knowledge of the prophetic. It will also contain some aspects of a beginner’s course. The intention of the course is not that people will leave “Prophets” but be further equipped to operate in a measure of the prophetic, and be released to likewise equip others, fulfilling the mandate of Four12 as a movement, “to equip the saints for the work of the ministry” (Ephesians 4 vs 12). The course is led by Melanie du Toit, and a team of prophetically gifted and experienced teachers. COST ADULT TICKET: 70 KWACHA (Includes – Notes, coffee & tea. Timothy Ministry Training

TMT is a one-year intensive discipleship training program focused on training men and women for life and ministry. As a ministry of Joshua Generation Church (JoshGen), we firmly believe in the role of the local church and the value of being part of a church family. Because of this our training takes place within the context of the local church, with a focus placed on both theoretical learning and practical application through direct experience. More than just conveying information, our passion is to facilitate the growth of a student, equipping them to effectively fulfill their destiny, by supplying the necessary competencies and experience to succeed. We aim to develop a person to walk as someone of character, with a dynamic relationship with God, one who will be effective in whatever they set out to do. Resulting in an individual, encountered by a living God, changed and ready to bring change! Jesus is our model in all things and it is our goal to model the way we train our students, on the way He walked with His disciples on a day-to-day basis. We are based in the beautiful town of Wellington, in the Western Cape at JoshGen’s picturesque ‘Provence’ facility. Whilst studying at TMT, you will receive the opportunity to be equipped by gifted teachers and leaders; be involved to daily church life, and to serve and visit congregations all over the Western Cape, whilst having some fun doing it. We are able to expose you to a number of ministries and ministry gifts, allowing you to see first-hand how these ministries and gifts practically function within the Church. Students can apply for an internship after they have completed their first year with TMT. More information about the internship program will be available for all first years at TMT. Check out our website http://timothytraining.co.za where you can find out more about us and how to apply. Contact: Anelda Rennison +27 (21) 873 6542
