TMT is a one-year intensive discipleship training program focused on training men and women for life and ministry. As a ministry of Joshua Generation Church (JoshGen), we firmly believe in the role of the local church and the value of being part of a church family. Because of this our training takes place within the context of the local church, with a focus placed on both theoretical learning and practical application through direct experience. More than just conveying information, our passion is to facilitate the growth of a student, equipping them to effectively fulfill their destiny, by supplying the necessary competencies and experience to succeed. We aim to develop a person to walk as someone of character, with a dynamic relationship with God, one who will be effective in whatever they set out to do. Resulting in an individual, encountered by a living God, changed and ready to bring change! Jesus is our model in all things and it is our goal to model the way we train our students, on the way He walked with His disciples on a day-to-day basis. We are based in the beautiful town of Wellington, in the Western Cape at JoshGen’s picturesque ‘Provence’ facility. Whilst studying at TMT, you will receive the opportunity to be equipped by gifted teachers and leaders; be involved to daily church life, and to serve and visit congregations all over the Western Cape, whilst having some fun doing it. We are able to expose you to a number of ministries and ministry gifts, allowing you to see first-hand how these ministries and gifts practically function within the Church. Students can apply for an internship after they have completed their first year with TMT. More information about the internship program will be available for all first years at TMT. Altitude Ministry Team
Oxygen Life Church, Port Elizabeth, RSA • Starting Date: 30 January 2020
Altitude is a one-year intensive discipleship training program of Oxygen Life Church (www.oxygenlife.co.za). The goal is to train men and women for the work of ministry in the context of the local church through theoretical training and practical experience, to equip students with the necessary skills to be effective ministers. Why Altitude? More than ever, this world needs people who will follow the upward call of God. People who will put aside earthly pursuits that have no eternal value, and seek His kingdom first and foremost. The name Altitude is a reflection of our desire to do just that – to go up. Not in pride or position, but in seeking first the interests of the kingdom of God. It’s a kingdom above the kingdoms of this world, and God is looking for a generation that will let the reality of the heavenly kingdom inform their approach to the earthly one. We believe that by training and equipping men and women to seek the things above, we are going to see a greater outpouring of the power of God through our church into our city and beyond. Throughout the year, we aim to cover all the following areas of training: • Theology classes / theoretical training • Character and practical ministry classes • Gifting and skill development • Leadership training • Training through church (DNA, value system, community) • Intensive discipleship • Practical ministry (outreach and service) Apply now for 2020! Applications Closing Date: 15 November 2019.
Year of Your Life
Living Hope, Isle of Man • Dates: 12 January – 13 December 2020
Your Life (YOYL) is a one-year internship dedicated primarily to serving Living Hope Church in the Isle of Man. The YOYL programme is aimed at students ages 18 years and older who are fully on board with the vision and heart of Living Hope. Typically interns will serve for 35 hours a week in a variety of areas across the Living Hope Church: youth work, children’s work and administration. They can expect their faith to be challenged and built up through serving, being mentored and being exposed to leadership meetings on a regular basis. They will serve on a YOYL team alongside other like-minded young people and the programme includes weekly times set aside for building bonds and having fun together as a team, making the most of the outdoors experiences the Isle of Man has to offer. In addition to their serving hours, they will typically receive 2- 4 hours a week of theological or ministry training. They are hosted by a family on the Isle of Man and attached to 1 of the 7 Living Hope congregations. That congregation’s lead elder will serve as their line manager. APPLICATIONS CLOSED Applications for the January 2020 intake of YOYL are closed, but look out for the 2021 intake.
