The feeling awe can fill us with excitement, wonder, and joy. But it can also bring with it a humbling sense that there are things far beyond our own understanding of the world. John’s gospel invites us to experience the awe of Jesus’s existence from the beginning, before time itself. It invites us to marvel at Jesus’s divine hand in creation, and the life that is found only in Him.
