When Friends Fail Part 2 / Sermon Only

In times of suffering, we don't need defenders of God or empty platitudes. We need friends who will sit with us in the pain and gently remind us of God's presence and love. True wisdom isn't about explaining away suffering or trying to control God through our obedience. It's about seeking the Giver, not the gifts. It's trusting that even if everything was taken away, we could still say with Job, 'The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.'
