In Mark 14:1-11, Mark contrasts two types of people: someone who is in relationship with Jesus and whose life is radically transformed (like Mary) and someone who is in relationship with Jesus and really hasn’t changed at all (like Judas). We want to be like Mary and give our very best to Jesus.
