Through intentional modeling, ongoing conversation and observation, and encouragement, you can help them learn to bounce back from struggles, get unstuck, and move forward with courage and confidence. https://donate.focusonthefamily.com/don-daily-broadcast-product-2024-04-23?refcd=2054002 https://assessments.focusonthefamily.com/s3/7-traits/?refcd=2054002 http://sf.fotf.com/s9non?refcd=2054002 http://www.focusonthefamily.com/parenting/raising-resilient-kidshttps://www.focusonthefamily.com/parenting/raising-resilient-kids/ https://feedback.https://feedback.focusonthefamily.com/s3/podcastsurvey

On this two-day Focus on the Family broadcast, Lee Strobel demonstrates how many scholars and academics now say science actually points to the existence of a divine Creator. He explores the question of why suffering occurs, even though we have a caring, personal heavenly Father. He will provide you with solid evidence of God’s existence and help you better understand why you can trust and believe in the Creator of the universe. https://donate.focusonthefamily.com/don-daily-broadcast-product-2024-04-02?refcd=2046701 https://www.focusonthefamily.com/family-qa/how-to-become-a-christian-understand-gods-love-and-what-it-means-to-follow-jesus-christ/ https://www.focusonthefamily.com/episodes/broadcast/how-to-raise-strong-believers/ https://www.focusonthefamily.com/episodes/broadcast/evangelism-its-easier-than-you-think/ https://feedback.focusonthefamily.com/s3/podcastsurvey

Parents can often face the teen years with fear because we often don’t fully know or understand what struggles our teens are facing and we know the consequences of their decisions and behaviors can be devastating. Jodie Berndt experienced all of these same challenges with her teens and has identified many scriptures that parents can pray over their teens regarding specific issues like friendships, peer pressure, dating, sex, temptation, social media, prodigals, etc. She addresses how to navigate conflict with your teen and how to trust God for your teen’s future instead of trying to put the burden of their success on yourself. Jodie also describes her own struggles with friendships when she was a teenager, and why parents must avoid turning fears and worries about your teen into an idol – where you focus more on what-if outcomes rather than trust God. https://donate.focusonthefamily.com/don-daily-broadcast-product-2024-03-19?refcd=2042601 https://store.focusonthefamily.com/brio-magazine---1-year-6-issues/?refcd=2042601 https://www.focusonthefamily.com/faith/learning-from-the-prayer-life-of-jesus/ https://www.focusonthefamily.com/alive-to-thrive/ https://focusonthefamily.com/podcastsurvey

Infidelity can rip a marriage apart — and it’s hard to imagine a betrayal more painful than finding out your spouse is involved with someone else. Josh and Katie Walters share the story of Katie’s affair with the husband of their good friend couple, and how Katie vacillated for quite a while, torn between doing the right thing (ending the affair) and still feeling love for the other man. Meanwhile, Josh was convinced by God that divorce was wrong and he needed to love Katie as Christ loves the Church, which meant pushing through the pain and hoping against hope to rescue his marriage. Josh and Katie have developed an acronym — S.T.A.Y. — for struggling couples. "S" stands for "Start with me," or taking ownership of your own sin and mistakes instead of blaming your spouse. They also address “T” — “Take quitting off of the table,” and Katie shares a story of making a vow to the Lord of “You can have my feet,” which meant she still wasn’t sure about her love/marriage with Josh, but she wouldn’t be going anywhere. https://donate.focusonthefamily.com/don-daily-broadcast-product-2024-02-22?refcd=2017201 https://hoperestored.focusonthefamily.com/?refcd=2017201 https://www.focusonthefamily.com/marriage/healing-from-infidelity-how-to-rekindle-intimacy-and-connection-in-your-marriage/ https://joshandkatiewalters.com/books/new-marriage-same-couple-dont-let-your-worst-days-be-your-last-days/?refcd=2017201 https://focusonthefamily.com/podcastsurvey
