What was God looking for in the new king instead of outward appearance?

Was there a time you or someone you know felt weak but God helped them?

REMEMBER THIS

This month, your kids are memorizing the Bible verse Psalm 147:7 (NIV), in case you want to work on them together.

NEXT WEEK

Next week, kids will learn about the faith David needed for his battle with Goliath.
