Did you know that 32% of our neighbors in Clay County (over 9,300 students) are affected by poverty? Hunger Fight provides donors, advocates, and volunteers the vehicle necessary to end hunger and illiteracy by providing nutritious meals to children, seniors, and families in need and age-appropriate books to preschoolers by engaging communities and mobilizing partners. We're raising $1,000 and asking for 10 volunteers to serve 2 hours for the event. That will provide 2,500 meals and 100 books. We can also ask that our packed meals go to the Green Cove Springs Food Pantry.
