Why does God allow suffering, and what does He ask of his church in response?

Beyond Suffering, developed by Joni and Friends, is a six-week study on a biblical view of suffering and disability ministry. Together we'll look at how Scripture speaks into pain and brokenness, why people affected by disability are too often missing from the life of the church, and what it looks like for a congregation to welcome, include, and walk alongside families who are hurting.

You don't need any background in disability ministry. You just need a willingness to think carefully and compassionately about people God loves.
