Kingdom Math

Kingdom Math

August 13, 2023 • Rev. Sherri Reynolds

In honor of school starting back, we are going to be calculating with some Kingdom Math. Don’t worry. This is the type of mathematics which applies to all: the math genius, and the math adverse. There is no spreadsheet or calculator needed. Kingdom math is a study where we give to God, and God does the multiplication. The numerical factor in kingdom math is Jesus and Jesus is the common denominator which makes all the difference. One Biblical example of Kingdom Math is Matthew 14:13-21, the feeding of the five thousand. Jesus takes a few loaves and fish and multiplies them to feed the masses. There is not only enough for the crowd to eat, but also leftovers. This is an incredible example of how Jesus can take our gifts and increase them for the good. This week, I encourage you to do a little math. Give God your prayer, presence, gifts, service, and witness and allow him to provide for the increase. In doing this, you may find an unexpected abundance. See you Sunday at the Abundance Place, Rev. Sherri
