In our society, conversations between those on different sides of the political divide are often avoided or, if engaged, become contentious. As a faith community, we expressed both sorrow and optimism about the election results. The message then aimed to give us practical ways to engage with someone who sees life from a very different point of view. These are never easy conversations.
