In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” The Apostle John begins his gospel account with this tremendous statement. He goes on to show us how Jesus is the Word, who was made flesh and dwelt among us. John’s purpose in writing his Gospel account is to show us that Jesus is the Christ so we might believe in Him. In part one of this study, we will see how Jesus claimed to be the Messiah by His seven great “I Am” statements and authenticated those statements by seven great miracles. Join us as we journey through the first half of the Gospel According to John and marvel at Jesus – the Word, who dwells among us today.
