9:30AM Groups

Tew Class

This class is currently doing a study on "Growing Deep in the Christian Faith" by Charles Swindoll. The basics of the faith are the roots from which we draw emotional stability, mental food for growth, and spiritual energy and perspective on life. Growing Deep in the Christian Life offers an easy-going and practical approach that reviews ten key doctrines and shows their power to strengthen and encourage you in faith. Swindoll says, "By returning to our roots, we determine precisely where we stand. We equip ourselves for living the life God designed us to live."

Living Word

The spring studies are It’s All About Jesus (which looks at passages from the Gospel of Luke to help us consider who Jesus truly is) and Being an Authentic Church (which shows that God intends for the church to be something far richer and more vibrant than an institution, a religious group, a voting bloc, or a tax-exempt non-profit organization). A special focus session is also included titled The Joy of Giving, which reminds us that believers are not only called to give but to give with great generosity.  The teaching style is leader-led with class interaction.

Faith Builders Class

God doesn't just want us to read His Word, He wants us to know it and live its truth. This fall, we’ll see that the Gospel of Mark is filled with timeless insights about who Christ was and why He came. It’s a first-century narrative with a healthy dose of 21st-century application. In Mark, we learn how to be a genuine servant and disciple. The teaching style is teacher-led with class interaction.

Abundant Life

God doesn't just want us to read His Word, He wants us to know it and live its truth. That's why Explore the Bible takes groups book by book through Scripture, framing every passage in its appropriate biblical and cultural context. This spring, we’ll continue our study of Genesis. For many, family makes all the difference. Our families shape us and test us. In big and small ways, we are who we are because of them. In Genesis 20–50, readers get a deep dive into one particular family: the descendants of Abraham. Through these patriarchs, God built the nation of Israel and established a line to the Savior. What’s more, their examples of faith continue to resonate with Christ followers today. And these studies bring their stories to life.  Teaching is leader-led with group discussion each week.

Brown/Kloes Class

God doesn't just want us to read His Word, He wants us to know it and live its truth. Explore the Bible takes groups book by book through Scripture, framing every passage in its appropriate biblical and cultural context. This winter, we’ll study John 1–11. Every miraculous sign and every powerful sermon John recorded pointed toward Christ and His offer of eternal life. That’s why, even today, readers continue to connect deeply with John’s Gospel—and with the Savior his Gospel reveals.

Crandall Class

The winter studies are "A Name Like No Other", which looks at the majesty and power of the name of God, and "Owning a Faith That Matters", a study of what faith entails from the Gospel of Luke. As well as, a special focus session titled "A Cry for Justice—a Sanctity of Human Life Study". The teaching style is leader-led with class interaction.
