Wednesday August 12 - 5:30pm – 8:00pm in the Fellowship Hall
You are invited to join us for a discussion on Poverty lead by members of our Local Relief Team focusing on how we define poverty, who is affected, and what are some of the root causes. The answer to these questions help us define how we can best serve those in need, whether we view the poor as victims of their own self-destructive behavior, victims of systemic political and economic failures and exploitation, or as fellow image-bearers of God trying to survive in a broken world with the rest of us.
Attendance will be limited for this event.
A light dinner will be provided for attendees. Registration is required.
