Choose Joy - Senior Sunday

Positive people choose an attitude of joy, They're eager to make the most of each day - whether it turns out as they plan or not, the opposite of joy is drudgery, seeing life as an endless series of meaningless tasks, The decision to choose joy is critical because joy is rejuvenating. It renews your spirit, refreshes you, and enables you to keep going. Joy is not happiness (despite there being similarities). Happiness is dependent upon our circumstances. Happiness is a feeling you get when things are going your way, Joy depends on your attitude and you can choose joy.

Choose Compassion - Be Kind to Everyone You Meet

Compassion means treating others with kindness, gentleness, and respect even when they don't deserve it. It's the practice of being patient, tolerant, and helpful to others, especially those in need. The opposite is reprisal, exacting a price for every interaction, counting the cost, and making sure others give you as much or more than they receive from you.

Choose Generosity - Give More Than You Take

Generosity begins with the positive belief that life and everything in it is a gift. As such, it rises naturally from gratitude. Positive-thinking people are grateful for what they have, and they always seem willing to share with others. This includes more than just money or material things. We can be generous with our time, hospitality, ideas, opportunities, encouragement, and even our very lives. The opposite of generosity is a scarcity mindset, the belief there will never be enough, so giving to others means taking away from yourself. This leads to stinginess, hoarding, and suspicion.
