Hope springs eternal!

In the middle of Micah’s relentless attack on the ungodly and immoral choices of the leaders and people of Israel and Judah, God is planning a better future. Looking back we know that future is made possible through Jesus. How do you receive warnings? How do you think about the responsibilities we have as Christians? How are we as the church participating in building a temple the nations will stream toward? Are we a blessing or a curse? Take time to read Micah 3:9-4:13 in preparation for Sunday.

Who He Is, What He Does

We have come to the end of our seven-week series from Micah. In the last verses of the book (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=micah+7%3a18-20&version=esv), the symphony comes to a climax as Micah asks, “Who is a God like you?” Of course, the answer is “No one!” because of the grace of the covenant-keeping God. The symphony could have climaxed by lifting up God’s power or holiness, but instead Micah puts grace on center stage. Aren’t you glad that you are the recipient of God’s mercy and kindness?
