What Angers the Lord?

Micah 2:1-13

In Micah 1 we learned that idolatry angers the Lord, and this sobering message continues in Micah 2. What angers the Lord? Unethical business dealings and man-pleasing prophecies. But Micah 2 has hope also, because He is faithful to His covenant.

We have come to the end of our seven-week series from Micah. In the last verses of the book (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=micah+7%3a18-20&version=esv), the symphony comes to a climax as Micah asks, “Who is a God like you?” Of course, the answer is “No one!” because of the grace of the covenant-keeping God. The symphony could have climaxed by lifting up God’s power or holiness, but instead Micah puts grace on center stage. Aren’t you glad that you are the recipient of God’s mercy and kindness?
