Lydia

May 29, 2022 • Rev. Amanda Meade • Acts 16:11–15, Acts 16:40

This week we finished up our series: How well do you http://know....with the story of Lydia.  She reminded us that important stuff happens at rivers in the Bible.  In her case, God opened her heart to listen to Paul preach the gospel and then she opened her home to become the first church in Philippi!  She reminds us that listening to God can change our lives and that hospitality is at the core of our faith. Peter and Paul

May 22, 2022 • Rev. Amanda Meade • Acts 9:1–2

This week we talked about Peter and Paul, and by learning more about them, we learn how to handle disruptions from God. They both had huge disruptions to their faith and belief, showing us that disruptions are both normal and a chance to think and act differently in order to express God's love and grow closer to God's truth. The 12 Disciples

May 1, 2022 • Rev. Amanda Meade

We started our new series last week "How Well Do You Know..." with the 12 disciples.  Through a hilarious video and message learning about the disciples reminded us that disciples aren't perfect, are life-long learners and most importantly are called to share the good news.  They encourage us to ask ourselves, how well do we know what God is calling us to do?
