As part of this message, worshippers were asked, "What would it take for Louisville to become an ideal city?" The responses were varied but they all pointed to a possible future far better than our current reality. Take a listen to what they had to say and how a speech given in the late 1800's by the pastor of First Christian Church can help us achieve the goal of creating a more ideal city, country, and world.
An Amazing Story

Are you ready for an amazing story? Last week, we sought to answer the question, "What would it take for Louisville to become an ideal city?" In so doing, we compiled a list of answers given by congregation members. This week, we celebrate how our church is making a difference in every single area that was named. All of it made possible by the grace of God and your faithful response to God's call.
An Overflowing Blessing

Through the prophet Malachi, God challenges us to test God when it comes to the faithful use of our monetary possession saying that if we give back to God a full tithe (10%), God will pour out an overflowing blessing. Over the past four years, members of First Christian church have put God to test in this way and God has responded with an overflowing blessing indeed.
