God secured your identity before you even knew you needed it. God delivered his people before giving them the commandments. The Ten Commandments are not a scale to compare yourself to others. The Ten Commandments are a gracious gift to live up to, not an impossible standard to fail.

Pursue the Blesser

The pursuit of the blesser stimulates the blessing. The reality of your sin should crush you. Your sin should stir emotions. Your sin needs a Savior and Lord. Analyze your cravings. God’s mercy is alive within you. Your mind is fragile but your heart is made pure. Bless others with peace. Following Jesus shouldn’t fit culture.

If the tomb is empty, anything is possible! Temptation always comes when you’re hungry, isolated, and tired. Short cuts lead to short-circuits. Know your “it is written” verse and speak it often.

If the tomb is empty: Jesus has guaranteed my resurrection too, Jesus has moved on to other work, I’ve been given access to all the grace I’ll ever need, I can live what is right no matter what I’m facing, and I have a reason to give thanks and worship back to God every single day.
