We can have things and love God. You are a created thing, not a creator. Pursuing God and sustaining life are not separate endeavors. See this world as temporary in order to seek kthe eternal. The strongest desire of your heart is what you will seek first.

The most lucrative investment we could make is a spiritual investment. A spiritual investment gives God our best. Giving God our best reorients our giving around Him. Bikkurim means promise to come.

First Steps

Sometimes a physical step accomplishes a spiritual one. Generosity should be habitual, proportionate, disciplined, prayerful, fun, and on the ready. Spiritual steps take shape when our focus in on Christ alone. Five areas of generosity are initial, consistent, intentional, surrendered and lifetime.
