This week we'll finish our series on Being God's Friend. The message Sunday is "Responding to God" from Genesis 18:22-33. This passage contains the first intercessory prayer in the Bible. There is much to learn from Abraham's prayer but we will primarily focus on the fact that Abraham prayed in response to God. God spoke and Abraham responded. It was a dynamic conversation. We too can learn to pray in conversation with God as we listen first and then speak in response to His Word.
