Love the World

Matthew 9:35-38

September 5, 2021 • Dr. Mark Kemp • Matthew 9:35–38

The message is "Love the World" from Matthew 9:35-38. This passage gives us a look into the heart of Christ for the lost world. If Jesus walked with us through our world today, what would He see? What would He feel? What would He say? In this Scripture, we hear Jesus inviting us to share His heart and become a part of His mission.

More from Our Mission

Church Alive!

September 12, 2021 • Dr. Mark Kemp • Revelation 3:1–6

We'll wrap up our series on the church's mission with a look at Jesus' words to the Church at Sardis. This church that had a reputation for being alive but was really dead is the church we do not want to be. We want to be a church that is really alive, filled with spiritual passion for the things of God. Through the warning Jesus gives and the remedy He offers to the church as Sardis we learn how to be alive and stay alive in Christ.

Love One Another

August 29, 2021 • Dr. Mark Kemp • Romans 12:9–21

This passage speaks to our relationships as Christians with one another, strangers, and even enemies. Our focus will be on how God calls us to relate to one another in the Body of Christ. We are family and not just people who attend the same church services. Our relationships, therefore, are to be filled with love, unity, humility, service and care toward one another. Our desire is to become more and more a true family in Christ.

Love God

August 22, 2021 • Dr. Mark Kemp • Exodus 33:7–11

During Epicenter, we refocussed on our mission to love God, love one another, and love the world. Our aim for 2021-22 is to keep this front and center in our thoughts and actions as a church body. For the next several Sundays I will preach on these three loves. This Sunday's message is "Love God" from Exodus 33:7-11. This passage gives us a look into Moses' amazing relationship with the Lord. When God called Moses, He was not just looking for a man to work for Him but to walk with Him in love. Although Moses was certainly unique, God desires a similar walk with us both as individuals and as a congregation. Our first and most rewarding business as a church is to love God.
