The church. What an amazing idea! God has the church in the world to bring a Divine form of reference to the culture. The church is to be a little bit of heaven on earth. In the sports world there are time-outs, half-times, pit stops, and seventh-inning stretches. So in life, it is valuable to take some time for appraisal. Today we pause our pace and evaluate the direction our lives are headed. The motivation is clear, we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. That can be a good day if you are headed in His direction. So, let's take time to stop and assess where we are headed with our lives.
