This year, First Baptist Church Mahan Street humbly and joyfully celebrates 160 years of Christian witness in Suffolk, Virginia. For over a century and a half, God has allowed this historic congregation to stand as a place of worship, refuge, advocacy, compassion, spiritual formation, and community transformation.
