Jesus Is Greater Than . . . Anything or Anyone You Will Face in This World. When doubt, fear, need, sin, or pressure come, you have an advocate: Jesus, the Son of God. Jesus, the great high priest, is able to sympathize with your weaknesses. You, then, hold fast to your confession of faith and with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that you may receive mercy and find grace to help in your time of need (Hebrews 4:14-15 paraphrased). Jesus, the Son of God, the great high priest, is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 paraphrased).
