The ladies of First Baptist and their guests are heading to the beach THIS March, so mark your calendars and start packing your bag! The Women’s Ministry Team is thrilled to offer our 2023 Women’s Retreat March 3-5, 2023, at the North Shore Hotel (formerly Ocean Dunes) in Myrtle Beach. We are excited to bring you Carolyn Freeman to lead our worship time dedicated to “Worship, Walk, & Warfare”. We will carpool our way to North Shore on Friday, March 3, arriving in time to begin our worship at 7:00 pm. Saturday will be a full day of spiritual growth, fellowship, crafts, free time for shopping or beach time and a group dinner out on the town! We will gather Sunday morning to worship our Lord and King before making our way back to Kannapolis Sunday afternoon. The cost is $190/person which includes a double room (2 per room) for 2 nights, a full breakfast buffet and boxed lunch on Saturday and a Continental Breakfast on Sunday. Expenses not covered are dinner Friday and Saturday nights, lunch on Sunday and $20/person to offset the gasoline cost. To keep costs manageable, we need a minimum of 20 participants and our facility has a firm maximum of 60, so please contact the church office as soon as possible to reserve your spot! Your $50 deposit is due to the church office by February 12 with balances due no later than Wednesday, March 1.
