Have you had a “mountaintop experience”? It is when things come together, and God does something particularly awesome. Have you experienced the dreaded fall afterwards? We don’t have to fall. God is sufficient for the victory and the victory lap which should follow! Don’t give up! Stay the course and be strengthened in Jesus! We can finish strong!

Rightly Pursue Righteousness - Part 1

Okay, we are there…does God really want everyone to be saved? Does God determine everything that is going to happen in our lives? If so, is God the author of evil? Am I off the hook for anything I have done? Does following the “rules” even matter? Today we are going to see that God is sovereign and He expects us to believe. Praise the Lord, He has used/cooperated with, all things in history to bring about our good and His glory (Rom 8:28). Therefore, let’s rightly pursue righteousness…His way!!!

A Chosen and Created People

Is Israel special? In today’s political climate, those could be fighting words. We don’t care about that for our purposes. The question is valid. Is Israel blessed? Is the nation that God created a blessed one? Are they still blessed? Today we change focus a little bit in the book of Romans to find out how God chose and created Israel for the most special of all tasks. We will also see that those blessings bring about enormous responsibility. Salvation is still by grace, through faith. Where do you fit into the picture?
