Mark your calendars for the next Soul Care Retreat with United Women in Faith! The retreat will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. in the Oak Street Center on April 12th. Come and experience a day full of spiritual renewal, fellowship, and growth. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to nurture your soul!

This year’s Soul Care Retreat is designed for those actively engaged in climate justice and racial justice advocacy—key social priorities of United Women in Faith. As change-makers, the work you do is essential, but it can also be exhausting. How do you sustain your spirit, avoid burnout, and continue making an impact?

Led by Rev. Sherry Cothran—UMC minister, singer/songwriter, author, and founder of Beloved Woman—this retreat will offer space for restoration, connection, and renewal with others who understand the unique challenges of advocacy. Together, we will explore practical ways to care for our souls and continue this good and necessary work with strength and resilience. Come refresh your spirit, find encouragement, and leave empowered!

Lunch will be provided and we will also have several vendors with items for sale. These vendors were chosen for their connections to caring for self and others.

We do not want cost to deter anybody from attending. If you would like to attend, but $20 is too much of an added expense for your budget, email Sally Richardson at cavesallyr@gmail.com or call 423-785-7748.
