Phil Scott, a 27 year veteran of the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service, was due to speak at the Firefighters Retreat at Hume Lake Christian Camps at the end of March 2020. Hume hosts this conference each year in collaboration with Firefighters for Christ (FFC). Due to the Covid-19 world Pandemic, Hume unfortunately had to cancel the event and also international travel was suspended. This meant that Phil could not attend or indeed speak as originally planned. The president of FFC (Joe Lindaman) contacted him to see if he would be willing to record the messages on video which he was delighted to facilitate. Phil hopes that you enjoy and learn from the messages as he himself was challenged as he prepared them.
