There’s no such thing as an unanswered prayer. God answers every prayer with “Yes,” “Wait,” or “No.” The last response is always the most difficult one to receive, and can be flat-out heartbreaking. Biblically, there are reasons God says, “No.” How can we learn to trust that God does everything—even saying, “No”—out of goodness and love?

There is a direct relationship between healing and confessing sin. We all want to see more healing and restoration happening through prayer in the Church and beyond. While there are some healings among us, can/should we expect more? How must we pray to release more of God’s healing and restoration among us? The answer is found in confession and repentance of sin.
