John 8:4-11

January 10, 2016 • Dr. Gary Brandenburg

She was guilty as sin. She knew it, Jesus knew it, everyone knew it. Early one morning as Jesus was teaching near the temple, a group of Pharisees dragged a woman to Jesus and deposited her at His feet. She had been found in the arms of another man. The penalty for adultery was death by stoning. “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. 5 Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?’ 6 This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him.”
