Taking Our Next Step Together

Timothy is fearful, forgetful, and very hesitant to step into his role following Paul. But, Paul asks him to remember that he is strong in the grace of Christ. Rick Dunn and the elders announced that they are beginning the process of identifying and transitioning to the next Lead Pastor of Fellowship Church.

The Story of Glory

This week, RD McClenagan teaches on the Glory of God. God exists for His own glory, and there is no weight or significance greater the Him. The Son has been glorifying the Father, the Father the Spirit, and the Spirit the Son since the beginning of time. Because we are made in the image of God, we were created so that we could share in His glory. The enemy tries to convince us that we can have glory separate from God, but we are to reflect God's glory.

In today's culture, through the deconstruction of Christianity, we have lost the truth, but there is only one way to know exactly what God says and what He expects, which is through the Bible. Losing the Bible as our cornerstone for truth is the path to unsteadiness in our hearts and minds.
A New Conversation: Abortion

This week, Sanctity of Life Sunday, Rick Dunn and Stacie Johnson discuss how we as new people need to step in to have new conversations with those around us on hard things. God seeks out those who feel unseen, unknown, unloved, and unworthy to bring hope and calls us to do the same. Rick and Stacie's conversation focused on abortion: defining "what is the unborn," how to walk with those who have abortion as part of their story, and how God can renew those places.

All Things New

Zach teaches the first Gospel Sunday of 2021 from Luke 4. The first Sunday of each month, we focus specifically on the good news of the story of Jesus. Coming out of the Advent Season, Zach paused to ask why Jesus took on human flesh and stepped into our world. In Luke 4:42-43, Jesus gave us His Missions Statement: “I have come to bring the good news of the Kingdom of God.” Zach remind us that with Adam and Eve’s rebellion in Genesis, sin entered the world and ruined everything. The sin inside of us is far too great for us to overcome on our own. But, Jesus declares that He has come to bring a new Kingdom, a Kingdom of Good News, and as followers of Christ, we have been invited and called to participate in the expansion of God’s Kingdom and the making of all things new.
