The Book of Habakkuk

Hopes & Fears Replaced

May 12, 2024 • Mike Waldrop • Habakkuk 3

Sometimes I feel like I’m at war with myself. Part of me continually focuses on worst-case scenarios and the doubts and fears our circumstances feed. But the part I want to focus on is that of being confident that God is in control and thus I can live in happy anticipation of what’s to come. Join us as we consider the tension between our circumstances in this world and our confidence in God, and how He replaces doubts and fears.

Doubts and Fears Relieved

May 5, 2024 • Mike Waldrop • Habakkuk 2:2–20

When things seem too good to be true, we often doubt their authenticity. However, Habakkuk's doubts were relieved when God showed him a glimpse of the future. Similarly, God's promises can alleviate our doubts and fears as we move from worry to worship. We welcome you to join us for the second message from Habakkuk.

Have you ever looked at the state of the world and wondered where God was? Or maybe you thought God was just making things worse. Habakkuk, the Old Testament prophet, had similar feelings. Yet he takes us from worry to worship knowing our God uses unlikely people and powers to do what seems impossible to us. Join us on a journey from Worry to Worship as we consider the writings of Habakkuk.
