Sometimes life deals us a losing hand. For David it meant losing everything that could possibly give him any safety, comfort, or security. He pretended to be insane and walked around drooling into his beard. He was at rock bottom and yet, when He considered his God, he found a personal, caring and loving God who showed him kindness and mercy. And yet the crisis continued. He wrote a great psalm that calls us to thanksgiving and recognition of who our God is. Join us this morning as we consider our responses to life’s losing hands.
