Tessa is a Qualified Interpreter for the Deaf; she has a BS from Trinity College of Florida in Leadership and Ministry as well as an MA in Educational Leadership from Argosy University. She is the full time Missions Director for Going the Distance Adventure Ministry and YWAM/Mercy Ships. She is the current Dean of Students at Sailfuture Academy. She is the Director of New Beginnings Homes, a nonprofit providing short term soft landing housing for at risk individuals or families.

Tessa has been married to David Ashe for almost 15 years and they have three daughters.
