In order to put on the armour of God, there are a number of prerequisites which the Apostle Paul describes throughout his letter to the Ephesians. We need to know who we are in Christ, how loved we are by God, that we should walk worthy of the Lord, and finally that we are to submit to one another. Our level of authority is dependent upon our level of submission, firstly to God and then to each other.

Abide in The Lord
Andy Elmes • March 22, 2020 • Andy Elmes
As we are instructed by Government to be socially distanced from each other during this time of dealing with Covid-19, Pastor Andy provides a clear message about guarding our hearts and coming into deeper relationship with God. Now is the time not to be distant from God but to reach into him, feast on his presence keeping our lives based on The Word rather than being filled with fear from the evil one, media etc. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind".

During the storms of life we are to fight the good fight of faith, as the Apostle Paul did, and learn to trust God that He is with us and for us throughout. Prayer is not something we go to as a last resort but should be threaded throughout the process of "having put on" and "taking up" the armour of God.
