Teaching a great class requires insight, discernment, creativity, and hard work into preparing both the content and the method. In this seminar, Les Sillars will help us think carefully about the techniques of teaching so that we do not find ourselves just delivering information to bored people in chairs. How can we gain and keep our students’ attention? How do we teach so that the truths of Scripture touch hearts and change lives? What does it mean for a lesson to have “unity” and why does it matter? What are the characteristics of powerful and effective teachers, and how do those qualities show up in their teaching?
