Lesson 2: Tisha B'Av

Overview of Tisha B'AV: what the day is about, how it is observed and the Scripture readings for it, the beginning of the Bride and Bridegroom imagery (in Lamentations), discussion of the stumbling blocks of self-pity (Lamentations) and not speaking the truth (Jeremiah passages). Pictures of Christ in Jeremiah 8-9: triumphal entry thru parable of the vinedressers (Mark 11); the "physician" imagery (Luke 4-5).
