SUMMER LIKE NO OTHER: SEE THE VICTORY Verses: Numbers 14:37-41; Acts 1-4 Topic(s): Refresh; focus, See the victory Big Idea of the Message: After going through a hard time in life we need to hit the REFRESH to bring new energy and strength to what we do. God’s people hit the refresh button in two major instances that changed the course of history. First, they hit the refresh button before entering the promise land; second, the apostles hit the refresh button before starting the Church/ Application Point: Do you need to hit the Refresh button on your spiritual life? Hitting the refresh button allows you to reevaluate and start over with a new purpose. QUESTIONS: 1. What stood out to you in this week’s message? 2. What were the two areas talked about in service where God’s people hit the refresh button? How did it start? What was the result? 3. What was the hardest thing you have ever gone through? How did you get back to normal or did you ever return to "normal?” 4. What is your focal point? What is something that when you see it, it reminds you of God. How can you shift your focus right now? 5. What victory do you want to see this summer? How are you going to hit the refresh button so that you have an new energy and strength to serve God this summer? 6. How are you going to serve God this summer? How can you prepare right now? 7. Application Point: Both in times of prosperity and of persecution, we will have hope in God’s plan for our life. Discussion Questions: 1.
