That's what "A Thrill of Hope" Advent Devotions will help you accomplish http://crosswalk.com has a great set of advent devotionals written by such personalities as Greg Laurie, Skip Heitzig, Adrian Rogers. They have given us permission to use these in our app. The devotions begin December 1. You may read them at the link here.
Our Preschool Director, Laurie Jensen has put together these Advent Boxes and accompanying sibling bags for families with multiple children in our Wee Kids. Boxes will be given our at pick up from church activities December 1. Each box includes a cling nativity set and a glove nativity puppet that will be used all month long. There are also weekly activities for families to do together leading up to Christmas. The idea behind this is to put something in the hands of parents that's ready to go; very little prep on their part for a great discipleship resource for their family. Boxes are limited to our Wee Kids families only.
Countdown to Jesus' Birthday using this fun calendar with your kids this season. On this interactive calendar, there are windows to open every day (you can't peek early). The first window will be able to be opened December 1. You'll find Bible verses for each day along with a fun activity or suggestion of what to do that day with your family. Some days are more involved than others, but you can be sure each day will help you focus on the Reason for the season...Jesus! The link will be active December 1.
Preschool and Graded kids will be able to get picture made with Santa, enjoy breakfast, decorate a sugar cookie and write a letter to Santa. They will also enjoy making a fun Christmas craft, and hear the Christmas story. This is a free event.
Nothing says Christmas more than music, lights and the story of the birth of Jesus! This year’s Celebration of Hope will include 120 voice choir and orchestra, First Kids Choir, Josh Bell and Blake Thompson! The times are 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Invite those around you to start their Christmas season right here at First Fairhope! If you can't be with us here in person, you may watch online
This is one of our church family’s favorite times together. Join us for this this evening of Christmas Worship, the Christmas Story and ending in candlelight. This year we have two service times.
